Joseph knew great suffering in his life. He was rejected by his brothers, thrown into a pit, sold into slavery in Egypt, and then on top of all of this, falsely accused and condemned to an underground dungeon, a place of metaphoric death. But Joseph learned that his suffering was not without gospel purpose. In time, God intervened to vindicate Joseph. In a metaphoric resurrection, Joseph was raised up out of the dungeon and exalted to the right hand of the royal throne of pharaoh to rule over all of Egypt. Discover how the trajectory of Joseph, which begins in extreme suffering and ends in the greatest of glory, anticipates the far more wonderful ministry of the Lord Jesus!
