Zacchaeus in the Sycamore Tree

Release Date: April 2022
Length: 2:56

Zacchaeus was short in stature, but more importantly, he was an unjust man. He was a tax-collector, who was utterly despised by the people and widely recognized as a thief. Still, he wanted to see Jesus. When the crowds wouldn’t let him through, Zacchaeus emptied himself of all dignity, ran far ahead of the crowd, and climbed up a tree. He would go up an unjust man and a thief. But after his encounter with Jesus at that tree, Zacchaeus would come down having been made just. Learn more about Zacchaeus’ remarkable encounter with Jesus at the tree and how it powerfully depicts the gospel redemption we can find at an even greater tree–the Tree of the Cross!
